Overview
El Camaleón at Mayakoba is a spectacular 18 hole championship golf course designed by Greg Norman. With a stunning beachside setting, the course blends through the diverse ecosystems of the award winning Mayakoba Resort, including tropical jungle, dense mangroves, freshwater canals. limestone walls and pristine Riviera Maya oceanfront. The course features several unique hazards, including an ancient underground sink hole in the middle of the 1st fairway. In 2007, El Camaleon became the first course in Latin America to host a PGA Tour event.
As well as a world class course, golfers will also find a state-of-the-art practice area including a Jim Mclean Golf School, and a contemporary clubhouse which offers good food and great views of the closing holes.
